Malama Aina Marine Debris Research Program (more info at mamdrp.blogspot.com)
Malama Aina Marine Debris Research Project Pathways is a joint initiative sponsored by Na Pua Noeau and Kuaana Native Hawaiian Student Services. It was a special pilot program for 7th and 12th grade students to study Marine debris dispersion by using floaters as model. The students learned both Maoli (Native Hawaiian) Science and Contemporary Science Perspectives. Findings will be presented at science conference and we plan to publish our work in a peer-review journal.
