Nipissing University: Limited Term Assistant Professor Position in Physical Geography & Climatology

The Department of Geography at Nipissing University invites applications for a 10-month limited term position (LTA 1) at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2014.

Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Geography; however ABD candidates will be considered as well. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Introduction to Physical Geography 1017 (both terms), Climatology 2107 and three courses from the following list of undergraduate courses:

Selected Regions of North America 3407

Earth Resources 3436

Selected Topics 3906

Lake and Wetland Environments 4127

Applied Climatology 4136

Paleoclimatology & Climate Change 4137

Topics in Physical Geography 4906
